FACTS ABOUT SHAKESPEARE
Many of the facts about William Shakespeare are not as clear cut as you might have thought. Here are some of those surprising facts about Shakespeare.
Whether you love or hate his work, the words and phrases of William Shakespeare have made their way into the common English Language and his plays have been performed on stage more times than any other playwright. Much of his life, though, is still a bit of a mystery and some people even doubt that Shakespeare even wrote his own words. It’s also a fact about William Shakespeare that he disappeared completely between the years of 1585 and 1592. Some people say he was acting on stage in London, others believe he went travelling around Europe, but there is no written record at all of his whereabouts in those years. Here are six more facts about Shakespeare that you might find surprising.
His family were illiterate
The first Shakespeare fact that you might find surprising is that, despite the man himself being one of the greatest writers of all time, none of his family could read or write. There is documented evidence that his father couldn’t write his own name and it is believed that his mother was illiterate too. What is, even more, surprising is that Shakespeare’s own children are thought to have been illiterate as well.
He was not an Elizabethan playwright
Shakespeare is often referred to as an Elizabethan playwright but it would be more accurate to call him a Jacobean playwright. Although the bard did indeed write plays during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, most of his popular plays were actually written during the reign of King James I.
He did not write all the words to his own plays
While some people believe that Shakespeare didn’t write any of his own works at all, it is almost certain that he would not have written all the words of his plays himself. Many of the witches’ scenes in Hamlet, for example, were written by ‘assistants’, which was a common practice for playwrights of that time.
He didn’t expect his work to last beyond his own lifetime
Although we still study his works today, it is a fact about William Shakespeare, that he never thought that his plays would be anything more than entertainment for the people of his time. He didn’t even bother publishing any of plays in print; that didn’t happen until after his death. He was only really concerned with writing plays that would be the Elizabethan equivalents of box office hits.
We don’t know how to spell Shakespeare’s name
No one is really certain how Shakespeare spelled his own name because he changed the spelling himself on the various documents that historians have found with his signature on. To make matters, even more, confusing, the writer often abbreviated his name on letters and other documents as well.
He invented new words and phrases
When there wasn’t already a word in the dictionary that could convey what Shakespeare was trying to say, he just invented his own, or he joined words together to form new ones. There are over 1700 words in the modern English dictionary that were invented by Shakespeare including; lacklustre, eyeball, birthplace, luggage and bedroom.

The Advantages Of Selling Used Cars Online
There’s no doubt that today we rely more and more on online resources to do almost everything, from shopping to banking to keeping in touch with people around the world
But did you know that you can even buy new cars or sell your used car online? What’s more, it offers several advantages over buying or selling vehicles via the traditional route.
Let’s take a look at the different scenarios.
Buying New Cars
If you were considering buying a new car but you were not sure what make or model would be best for you, one way to go about doing this would be to go to various showrooms and check out the different models that they had on offer. You could even test drive the different models that you were interested in. However, when you think about the vast number of car manufacturers, this would be a hugely time consuming endeavor.
Fortunately, that’s not the only way to explore new cars for sale. Today, a better way to buy or sell new or used cars is online. All you do is go to a site online that facilitates buying and selling used cars and new cars and browse through all of the different types of vehicles that they have and shortlist those that best suit your needs and your budget. If you do not find what you are looking for, you can simply go to another site and check out the models that they have. Some sites such as CarZag have advanced car search engine modalities that even allow you to browse through multiple sites in one place. So you don’t even have to go to different sites. Simply go to CarZag, enter in your requirements you will be able to browse all of the new cars available at different sites such as ebay and lemonfree. You would never be able to do such a thing through a traditional dealer.
Selling Used Cars
When it comes to selling used cars too, going the online route offers a wealth of benefits. Going to a traditional dealer would mean going from one place to another in search of the best deal. The disadvantages do not end there. Leaving your car with any one dealer means your car will be seen only buy buyers who visit that particular dealer and when you finally do get a buyer and manage to sell your vehicle you still have to pay the dealer a fee, which can be quite a considerable amount.
Compare this with selling used cars online. If you have a car that you want to sell, you can do it without even leaving your home and without have to pay any kind of fees. You simply get on the internet and look for sites that facilitate buying and selling used cars as well as new cars. The advantages of doing this are many. You are not restricted to using only one site. You can list your vehicle on as many sites as you want to. Another advantage is that you can reach out to a larger number of prospective buyers through each listing and with multiple listings, the number of buyers you can reach out to increases dramatically. Last but certainly not leastFree Web Content, there are no fees involved for buying new cars or selling used cars online.

Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV)
What is a Natural Gas Car?
Basically it's just like a regular gasoline car... it has the same kind of engine and when you are driving, it feels like a normal car. But... instead of running on gasoline, it runs on the same gas that comes out of your stove. You could actually get a filling pump installed in your house and fill up at home! You could never need to go to the gas station. But if you didn't have the home fueling system, then you would need to find a natural gas filling station near your home or work. It takes a little more planning because the last thing you want to do is run out of fuel. If you do, you have to get towed to the station.
Let me tell you 4 good reasons for driving a natural gas vehicle:
For me the biggest advantage of driving an NGV would be the fuel price. That's because I'm cheap. Right now a Gallon-Gas-Equivalent (GGE) is $2.44. Actually NGV's require fewer oil changes and the spark plugs and engine parts last longer because the gas is burning cleaner. So again if you're cheap like me, you like low maintenance.
They pollute a lot less than a gasoline car. Natural gas vehicles emit 13-21 percent fewer GHG emissions than comparable gasoline and diesel vehicles. If you are an Al Gore fan, then you'll like them. An NGV has higher emissions than an electric car, but electric cars have lithium ion batteries which will eventually go bad. The replacement of the battery is around $5000. For the most part we really don't know how long they last. It might need to be replaced once or twice in the car's lifetime and we don't really know how much impact that will have on landfills.
You support the American economy. Gasoline comes from oil. The US imports 9 billion gallons of oil a day!!! That's about $17 billion per day. I don't know if everyone is aware of this but we have all the energy we need right here at home in the form of natural gas and our vehicles will run very nicely on natural gas.
You can drive in the carpool lane by yourself.
In Conclusion
My hope is that with this short article, you know a little more about natural gas vehicles.
They save money on fuel and on maintenance (no batteries to worry about)
They pollute a lot less - Transportation accounts for 27% of our greenhouse gas emissions so this is a good way to reduce global warming
It's good for the American economy - We can be less dependent on the Middle East and we can produce our own energy for our cars
You can drive in the carpool lane by yourself
For some reason, the US is lagging behind the rest of the world. I would love to see the US start using natural gas instead of gasoline. Maybe you can consider it now especially when prices start going up at the pump.

Why Is The World Opting For Automatic Transmission?
Customers throughout the world are increasingly choosing to buy vehicles with automatic transmission, compared to those with manual transmissions. Gone are the days, when customers had to extensively learn the art of manually maneuvering automobiles. The revolution brought about by automatic transmission is simply immense. Not only has it allowed vehicle makers from removing the clutch pedal from passenger cars, but it has also enabled thousand of automated factory vehicles to operate seamlessly. There is little doubt that transmission parts have provided solutions that were unimaginable only a couple of decades ago.
Learning and operating vehicles made easier
Driving vehicles in the past required one to learn the skill for several hours. Even when learning, the difficulty in using clutch and levers in situations like heavy traffic was never an easy task. However, this has allowed the learning process to become easier and driving much simpler. Although parts have been in existence for several years, the latest technological innovations have made modern automobiles much simpler and safer for use.
Automatic transmission parts rapidly becoming affordable
Up until the recent past, using or replacing its parts used to cost very high for customers, which thereby even discouraged many to use vehicles with the technology at all. However, the emergence of companies, which produce a large variety of its parts at affordable prices have ensured that the production cost and market price of automatic transmissions are now entering within the general affordable reach. With the entry of several third party manufacturers from Korea and China that are producing several parts in bulk at much lower rates, its parts are set to become even more affordable in the near future.
New developments that improve productivity
Several auto experts and magazines even today point out that it isn't fuel efficient or powerful enough compared to manual transmissions. However, new smart technologies that integrate automatic transmission with state-of-the-art software have ensured that several new models using reliable parts can provide better performance and fuel efficiency compared to manual systems. It can be argued that the recent evolution of automatic transmission have ensured that it is a safer, better performing and a more economical alternative than manual ones.
Not just for passenger vehicles
With the increased demand for productivity and quality, this has been recognized as a technology that can be used with various plants and factory vehicles. Automatic transmission is more compatible with automation technologies that several modern factories are either already using or are planning to use. In fact, most self-driving or remotely operated vehicles extensively make use of its parts. Renowned companies also produce automatic transmission parts specifically for factories and industries.

Electric V/S Traditional Car Engines
According to the EPA, a majority of greenhouse gas emissions come from cars and trucks. In past years, gas from transportation is the second largest contributor. The United States' average commute is roughly 20 miles which translates to a 0.01 metric ton of carbon dioxide emitted for just one trip. Though seemingly small, this adds up fast throughout the year as everyone commutes. Out of all transportation, about 1,750,000 metric tons is emitted in a year. This statistic only includes the United States and is a dangerously high number.
The consequences of all the air pollutants does not come at no risk. The large amount of carbon dioxide emitted every year is what experts believe is the cause of global warming. The warming can endanger our health and can cause extreme weather such as higher sea levels due to flooding and droughts. Because oil is a non-renewable resource, it will only become more difficult to obtain, which will make the burning of gasoline even worse.
With all the seemingly negative effects of traditional car engines, there are some positives. Engines that run on gas will travel much further than an electric engine. All electric cars will only travel up to 100 miles on a full charge before needing to be plugged in again. If a consumer is not near somewhere they can charge, this can be a cause for concern to the individual. Charging stations have not become a commodity that is everywhere yet. Also, the price for a car with a combustion engine will be priced lower than that of a pure hybrid vehicle. The average price to buy the hybrid car brand new can reach up to $30,000, but a regular midsize sedan has an average price of around $18,000.
Although electric vehicles are priced significantly higher than the others, they will typically last several years longer than a gasoline based car. A battery in the electric car will last up to 100,000 miles before needing to be replaced. With no engine to give maintenance to, money is saved through the lack of oil changes and upkeep. In addition, brakes will last notably longer therefore making it even more cost efficient. Lastly, and most important, zero emissions will flow out from the electric vehicle. Some emissions are exuded to make the electricity to charge the car, but it does not compare to the greenhouses gases put into the air through combustion engines.
The demand for an all hybrid car has increased within the past decade, yet traditional cars still sell better. According to the EIA, electric cars sell at a very small fraction compared to gas cars. Yet, by 2040, the growth rate of electric cars is expected to be 11%, whereas conventional cars will only grow by 0.1%. Most family households are presumed to have the two types of vehicles in the future, one for traveling far distances and the other for riding around town. If these predictions are correct, transportation will no longer be a tremendous contributor of greenhouse gases and each individual's carbon footprint will not have as much of an impact on the environment.
